Riding on the coattails of the successfull opening of The Commissary, Chef Tesar is officially opening THE TABLE tonight! It's a separate but attached 12-seat chef's tasting restaurant, similar to what he had at The Mansion on Turtle Creek. This private and cozy dining room has one large, beautiful thick wooden table that seats 12 with views of the Arts District and downtown Dallas. It's communal too which makes it even more fun because you can meet new, interesting people who are sharing a fantastic meal. Sounds pretty good to me. Multi-course menus start at $55. Call the Reservation Hotline at 469-600-4660 and Chef Tesar will personally answer your call to discuss the evening's menu and answer any questions. If no answer he promises to call you back so be patient. How's that for personalized service?

He'll be open 7 days a week, serving lunch and dinner and late night meals, for those headed back from an Arts District performance or anyone out on the town. He'll also have take-out available for those on-the-go in cool, eco-friendly packages (love). He expects brunch and burger specials on the weekends too. Ohhh...and one last thing...he's going to have a communal chef's table where people can reserve a seat to enjoy a special chef's menu so keep an eye out for a future post on where to get all the 411.
